DVAC circuits have long been the standard method for providing secure, supervised communications from a monitored premise to the monitoring station.  Used for supervision of fire panels and other applications needing high reliability, the technology relied on dedicated wiring from the monitoring station to the customer's site. Once considered the ultimate in high reliability, the aging circuitry and associated equipment at various monitoring stations is now showing its age, and "off-lines" and equipment malfunctions are becoming much more common.

Although Bell Canada has been threatening to discontinue DVAC circuits for many years, the company has attempted to manage the migration to other signalling methods through a continuous series or pricing increases.  Now, the most expensive signalling method has also become the least reliable.

In order to encourage our customers to convert their existing DVAC systems to newer technology, Bond is offering to those customers whose system was monitored by Bond as of June 1, 2011 a limited time 15% discount on our normal material and labour pricing to replace this obsolete equipment.

If you haven't already been contacted by our customer service team, please call the office or send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it without delay to arrange for a quotation to have your system converted.  Your combined line monitoring and line charges will almost certainly be reduced (in some cases significantly), and the reliability of your system will be greatly improved.

This offer will not be continued indefinitely, so please act quickly.
